Windsor is well known for its beauty and history which makes it a prime area for buyers and an attractive location for thousands of visitors every year. Being found within the county of Berkshire, which is known famously as one of the home counties, it is an area that comes with a great deal of heritage. Many will think of Windsor Castle, the royal residence of Queen Elizabeth II, as a key landmark of the world-renowned town of Windsor.
There is a good variety of sources of entertainment and relaxation. Notable attractions include the River Thames, high-end shops, a racecourse, the Windsor Great Park, and a theatre. Not to mention, it is home to the Legoland Windsor resort and theme park. Given that there is so much to see and do, it is both a popular tourist destination and a thriving place to live for residents.
With two train stations and service that gets to London in around 30 minutes, Windsor is a popular location for commuters.
